Summer Hat

Goorin Tiki Lounge Hat
With it’s faded and frayed hawaiin shirt fabric, and a wooden button on the side, you should really be drinking a cocktail in a Honalulu bar to wear the Goorin Tiki Lounge Hat Admittedly a friend did greet me with “Where’d you find that ? A skip ?” but I think it’s ideal now that summer’s arrived and so many other hats make you look like you’re trying too hard.

Urban Outfitters are carrying them in the UK for £18.

A delightful watch

The Breitling Navitimer

navitimer

is this the most attractive watch in the world? Along with the TAG Monaco I’d say so.

Now would any jeweller fancy giving me one for an extended trial and review? 😉

Paul Smith Lizard Skin Wallet

Annoyingly, “Sorry this product is not currently available to buy”.

UPDATE: The Paul Smith shop in Covent Garden now has this wallet in a not particularly attractive grey/white and a very stylish red. Unfortunately it’s £189.

Possibly the best courier bags in the world

Posted on by 1 comment

I saw some of these Jack Spade bags in Selfridges (in London) at the weekend and can safely say they are the nicest courier bags I’ve ever seen. Clean lines, no unecessary detailing or labels on the outside, solid construction and nicely contrasting liner colours (which you can’t see in the pic, unfortunately). They’re almost like a cross between a courier bag and a posh satchel, which is no bad thing.

Bailey

Bailey is a London menswear shop which has good quality jumpers, shirts, coats and accessories – a more reasonably priced Paul Smith. It has two branches, one in Shorts Gardens (north of Covent Garden) and one in Carnaby Street.

Unfortunately it does not appear to have a website. Perhaps they should get one.

Selfridges

Selfridges – probably the best single store in the UK. They have outlets in Manchester, Birmingham & the flagship store in London Oxford Street. Unfortunately you cannot buy online.

g.room – an online store and a shop in Carnaby Street, London. They sell a wide range of products: from Ozwald Boateng shirts & ties to J.Fold wallets to the aftershave James Bond wears. An ideal shop to buy gifts from.
