Another beautiful t-shirt from the Imaginary Foundation:
Urban Outfitters UK store is now online
ONETrueSaxon are having a sale – I like the Tri-Colour knit reduced to £50. Unfortunately their site is entirely flash-based.
Brown Summery Suit from the Muji sale. Trousers £19, jacket £29. Splashed out and bought a nice, unreduced white, patterned shirt for £25.
Saw someone wearing this shirt on the tube… the phrase just rolls off the tongue: SLM
Someone at the Sunday Time Style supplement obviously reads Fancydan, as they too have picked up on Aussie Bum pants calling them “the next big thing in men’s pants”. Their article did also remind me, that if you’re a fan of the brief, you can’t beat American Apparel’s no-nonsense, Baby Rib briefs in a multitude of colours. Plus, as usual for them, you know they’re sweat shop free.
I also recently discovered the Canadian brand Ginch Gonch. Maybe a little bit bright for me, their pants and briefs have a retro 70s look, featuring bright colours and designs like fire-engines, hot-dogs or speeding motorbikes. Online, they’re available from www.iwantpants.com, a site who put all their effort into getting a great domain name and none into making their site work with non Internet Explorer browsers. Offline, you can find them in Prowler, Soho
Oscar Milo in Spitalfields is a menswear and womenswear store that currently has a sale on. One item that caught my eye amongst the bright shirts was a sparsely pinstriped (pink pinstripes!) grey suit with a de la mode one button jacket from Holland Esq.
However the most beautiful item of all in the shop was an Italian leather overnight bag available in tan, red & chocolate. This was not in the sale, but was an absolute bargain at £139… a similar bag in Selfridges would be upwards of £300.
My wife was eyeing the bag enviously and has declared that if I get one, she wants one too… well I suppose it is our 3 month wedding anniversary.
A short walk down Oxford Street revealed two prospective purchases; Aldo have a well priced range of comfortable attractive shoes (I like these) and Urban Outfitters, despite having a rubbish sale, have the best choice of cheap sunglasses (the over-large Aviator style seems to be popular at the moment, which suits someone with a large head such as myself).

Ian’s Shoelace Site – Bringing you the fun, fashion & science of shoelaces… wtf?
While I’m sure there are bargains to be had at the Silas Sample Sale this week, am I the only person getting hacked off that fashion companies think it’s ok to charge admission to these things ?
