A short walk down Oxford Street revealed two prospective purchases; Aldo have a well priced range of comfortable attractive shoes (I like these) and Urban Outfitters, despite having a rubbish sale, have the best choice of cheap sunglasses (the over-large Aviator style seems to be popular at the moment, which suits someone with a large head such as myself).

Summer sales in London are on now, I noticed Selfridges and Gap (and bought a nice soft white leather belt for £10) on a trip up Oxford Street and have just received an email from Urban Outfitters to say that their sale has started (unfortunately it appears to be the worst sale in London).
EDIT 29/06/06: Sales are everywhere now, there is a list in the current issue of Time Out… I have just bought a shirt I had my eye on in Paul Smith that was reduced from £130 to £91.

Progresswear – these fellows aren’t too keen on “Intelligent Design” and have a range of t-shirts to prove it.
And just to add some balance here is this t-shirt… the design of which is certainly not intelligent.

EDIT 29/06/06: I went to the cardholder special event – being a cardholder is obviously not as exclusive as I first thought absolutely heaving with shopping-mad ladies – like an upmarket jumble sale! I’d advise waiting for it to calm down a bit.
